L'amour du travail bien fait.

The love of work done well.

I grew up in a family of trades and property developers. My father was a cabinet maker and, for many years, a nurse. My mother was a decorator and a cabinet quality inspector. They showed me what care looks like in practice: attention to the smallest detail, and a habit of always learning.

French was the language of our home, and with it came a way of looking at work. In French culture, doing something well is a source of pride in its own right, simply for the art of it. A cabinet maker, a baker and a tailor all take the same quiet satisfaction in getting the details right, even the ones no one will see.

That is why French houses known for leather, tailoring and perfume are so respected. The craft comes first, and the luxury follows from it. I was raised in that tradition, and it shapes how I design: fewer things, chosen carefully, made properly.

I hold a trade qualification and have worked in construction and renovation. I have also studied and worked in project management. In my design career I have worked in kitchens, bathrooms, window furnishings and more. That mix means I know how a design gets built, not just how it looks, and I can talk to builders and suppliers in their own language so your project runs smoothly.

How I work

Function first, then beauty.

Layout comes first

A space has to suit what it is used for. Where you stand, what you reach for, how the room works every day.

Keep what works

I do not replace or upgrade for the sake of it. Sometimes a full remake is not needed, and you keep the money.

Finishes that agree

Hardware, joinery, tapware and appliances chosen together, so nothing looks like it came from a different showroom.

Advice you can trust

I am not tied to any supplier or builder. I know a wide range of them, what each does well and where each falls short, so I guide you to the right one for the job.

Who I help

Busy people who want someone to take the lead.

My clients are renovating, building or finishing a home and want a high quality, functional result without managing every decision. I take on only a few homes at a time, because I design every layout, material and finish myself.

My approach is quiet luxury: nothing shouting for attention, everything doing its job, and a home that still feels right years later. Rien de moins, rien de trop. Nothing less, nothing in excess.
